THE MONEY IS NOT THE POINT AS WE WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID EXTRA MONEY IF MIKE SAUNDERS HADN'T IMMEDIATELY TREATED US AS IF WE WERE BROKE UNDESIRABLES.įamily friendly, pet friendly, competitive pricing and so many events this summer! I can't say enough about this amazing resort. ITS AN RV PARK WITH A FEW MUD PUDDLES TO SPLASH AROUND IN AT BEST. TICO TIME IS NOT A REAL RESORT AND THEREFORE THE PRICING FOR AMENITIES IS WAY OVER THE TOP. He was verbally abusive, patronizing, aggressive and very rude in his questioning. We brought money to spend at the resort, but because of Mike Saunders' attitude towards us for opting out of the shuttle service we withheld spending any extra money. Nowhere in the website does it say a fee is charged for crossing the bridge, using the slides, staying for the band, etc. Mike Saunders approached and harassed us a number of times (minimum of 6), all the time treating us as if we were trying to get free access to the resort. Obviously, he is all about the money and not so much about creating a positive experience for his customers. He immediately started treating us as if we were trying to get something over on the resort. Mike Saunders copped an immediate attitude when we declined the shuttle service, which the website said was free, but he claimed it cost $10 per trip across the bridge. Second, that campers are not expected to vacate the premises at any particular time. First, that we were allowed transport of our camping gear across the river bridge to the camping site area. The Tico Time website, the only source of information we had, said two very important things. It also seemed that he immediately changed his attitude towards us based on our money decisions. Our experience was extremely dampened by Operations Manager Mike Saunders and his inability to relate to people. After arriving, and checking in, we were informed of the camping rules, but Operations Manager Mike Saunders seemed to make up his own rules. THIS BAD REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY ITS ABOUT THE TERRIBLE SERVICE AND TREATMENT FROM MIKE SAUNDERS (the rest of the staff was fine) We have never been to Tico Time Resort, and we had high hopes for the experience. THE MONEY IS NOT THE POINT AS WE WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID EXTRA MONEY IF MIKE SAUNDERS HADN'T IMMEDIATELY TREATED US AS IF WE WERE BROKE UNDESIRABLES TRYING TO GET FREE ACCESS TO THE RESORT.
